Alternative Backups for Typhoon, Earthquake and Finance

So after ng Typhoon Glenda ay nagkakaroon ng rotating brownoutsa  in Metro Manila, including my beloved Commonwealth Avenue area.  At dahil dyan tatlong araw na sa Eastwood ako nagwo-work at pornada ang aming negosyo especially ang Morning Delightful Rice and Sandwiches. At ito pa, Ayon kay Dr. Renato Solidum baka mag-look up -look up shake-shake anytime because of 7.2 magnitude earthquake.

Isa ako ang umiikot ang tumbong pag brownout because my work and businesses depend on electricity.  Pero kahit naman siguro sa atin ay parang di mapakali kapag  kuryente.  Ang masaklap nyan pag ganyang may emergency yung inaasahan natin na  bagay o tao ay hindi available.

Ano ang meaning nito?  We can never tell kung kailan darating ang calamities like typhoon and earthquake.  Kung gaano katindi ang epekto nila sa ating buhay at pamilya.  Siguro dito na papasok yung sinabi ni Dr. Solidum na hindi lang kulang sa preparation kundi sa imahinasyon.  Don’t settle for one option kung may maidadag pa na plan b and plan c.

ganito rin ang natutuhan ko sa work, business and personal finance.  Kailangan mo ng Diversified source of income because madalas yung salary mo sa day job mo  ay kulang pa sa monthly bills,  yung business mo may ups and may lowsssss at sa investments hindi lang yung pandagdag ang usapan kundi paano mo mapapangalagaan.

So first let’s see na kaagad yung mare-repair sa ating tahanan at pamumuhay then find alternative and back ups just in case may emergency.  mahirap yung kailan na nadyan saka lang gagalaw…at masaklap maninisi.

I encourage everyone  to find sideline business, get insurance and create emergency fund.
